A consolidated e-invoice aggregates many transactions into a single submission rather than issuing one per sale. It is the practical route for high-volume F&B and retail, where buyers rarely provide tax details.
Without consolidation, a busy restaurant would need to issue an individual validated e-invoice for every bill, which is impractical at the counter and unnecessary for guests who do not need one.
Buyers who do require an individual e-invoice can still request one; consolidation covers the remainder.
