Terms of Service

Agreement

By creating an account, installing the desktop application, or using the tools on this site, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the service. MinimalPOS is operated by UIFLOW.

The products

Cloud restaurant POS

The cloud restaurant POS is currently offered free of charge as a free, limited-time offer. Free access applies to accounts created while the offer is open. We will give existing accounts reasonable notice by email before any change to their pricing takes effect.

Retail POS licence

The offline-first retail POS is sold as a one-time licence at $100 (USD). A licence is issued as an activation key and entitles the purchasing business to install and use the application, including future updates to that product. Activation keys must not be shared, resold or published. A free tier with a reduced feature set is also available; see Retail POS for what each includes.

White label

White-label deployments are governed by the separate written agreement made with each partner. Where that agreement conflicts with these terms, it takes precedence.

Free tools

The tools under minimalpos.com/tools are provided free and without an account. They run in your browser and are offered as-is. Documents they produce — invoices, payslips, receipts, menus — are your responsibility to check for accuracy and for compliance with the tax and employment rules that apply to you.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your account credentials and activation keys secure, and tell us promptly if you believe they have been compromised.
• Ensure the data you enter, and the way you use the product, complies with the laws that apply to your business — including tax, invoicing, employment and data-protection rules in your country.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, resell or circumvent licensing of the service, and do not use it to store or transmit unlawful content.

Availability

We work to keep the cloud service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, third-party outages and factors outside our control can interrupt access. The retail POS is designed to keep operating offline for exactly this reason.

Your data

The operational data your business creates in the product remains yours. We process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may request an export or deletion at any time.

Intellectual property

The software, brand and site content remain the property of UIFLOW. A licence grants a right to use the product; it does not transfer ownership of it.

Liability

The service is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost sales or indirect losses.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, where an activation key is being misused, or where required by law. See our Refund Policy for what happens to a paid licence.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and we will notify account holders by email of material changes.
