Why this tool does not generate the QR itself

A DuitNow merchant QR carries an Acquirer ID and merchant credentials issued by a participating bank when they register you with PayNet. It cannot be built from your business name and phone number the way a PromptPay QR can. Any tool claiming to generate one from your details alone would produce a code that fails at the counter — so this one works with the QR your bank already gave you.

Free — limited-time offer

The QR takes the payment. Something still has to reconcile it.

MinimalPOS records DuitNow, Touch 'n Go, GrabPay and card payments against each bill, so your end-of-shift report shows exactly what came in through every channel.

How this free tool helps

DuitNow QR Table Standee Generator

Your bank or acquirer issues your DuitNow QR — this tool makes it presentable on a counter. Upload the QR image you already have, add your business name, choose the wording, and export a print-ready standee. Everything happens in your browser; nothing is uploaded to us.

From planning tool to restaurant operations

A QR on the counter still has to be reconciled at the end of the night. MinimalPOS records DuitNow, Touch 'n Go, GrabPay and card payments against each bill as custom payment methods, so your payment-mix report shows what actually came in through each channel.

Frequently asked questions

Can this tool generate a DuitNow QR code for me?

No, and no honest tool can. A DuitNow merchant QR carries an Acquirer ID and merchant credentials issued by your bank or payment acquirer, so it cannot be self-generated from your business details the way a PromptPay QR can. Get your QR from your bank, then use this tool to make it presentable.

How do I get a DuitNow QR for my restaurant?

Apply through a participating bank or payment acquirer. They register you with PayNet and issue the QR, which any Malaysian bank app or e-wallet can then scan. There were over 681,000 new DuitNow QR acceptance points added in 2025, so onboarding is well-trodden.

Is my QR image uploaded to your servers?

No. The tool runs entirely in your browser. The image you select is rendered locally and never sent to us, which is also why it works without an account.

What size should I print it at?

A6 works well for a table standee and A5 for a counter or till position. Print at 100% scale rather than fit-to-page, and check the QR still scans from the printed copy before putting a stack of them out.
